A Taste of Lechon In A Pizza
November 27th, 2010 | by upto6only |Pizza Hut just recently launched it’s newest flavor pizza – that is the Lechon Pizza.
I received an email saying “Dear Philippine…” I got intrigued with their new flavor that i bought one to try it out.
I suggest that you order and eat this in any of their branches instead of eating this at home. Why? because the lechon skin is not yet placed on top of the pizza so as to maintain the crispiness of the lechon skin.
The smell of the pizza is like sisig to me. As to the taste, i find it just ok nothing special. I guess the branch where i bought this pizza forgot to give me the lechon sauce (or it is already on the pizza???). Maybe it’s in the lechon sauce that will make the taste even better. The pork skin is crispy though, there is an after taste. I guess, i am still a “cheese pizza” person and not a meat or pork lover.
Have you tried Pizza Hut’s Lechon Pizza? Do you like it?
Update: For some reason that they failed to give me the special lechon sauce for the pizza, good enough that our pantry has the Mang Tomas lechon sauce. Somehow, it made a difference to the pizza :p.

hehehe hindi din ako adventurous though muka lang masarap kaya i tasted it. i still go for simple toppings like cheese.

this is such a tease!
i am craving for lechon for 4 months now!
pero on pizza as toppings? onli in the pilipins!
basta i have to grab a bite at lechon pag uwi ko sa last week ng december, come hell or high waters! LOL!

gusto ko na ayaw. doesn’t it taste too ‘mamantika’? i would try this just for the heck of trying.

happy naman ang experience ko with the lechon pizza, to think hindi ako mahilig sa lechon at pizza. hehehe. masarap yung lechon sauce nila tapos lagyan ng konting hot sauce. yummy!
hindi ko lang ito kaya maappreciate kung more than 2 slices na. :p

hehehe same here. I guess 1 slice is enough for me pero kung ibang flavor kaya ko more than 1 hahaha.
ma-try nga ang lechon sauce with hot sauce.
