Conti’s Pastry Shop & Restaurant, Greenbelt 2
October 27th, 2009 | by upto6only |October 8 was the grand opening of Conti’s in Greenbelt 2. Knowing that they opened a new branch and just around Makati area made me crave more for their famous Mango Bravo cake. Now, I don’t need to go to Serendra just to buy their delicious cakes. However, now that they are near, that would increase my carb intake :) Surely for food trippers like me, I did not miss the chance of dining in their new branch. My officemates and I had lunch there one Wednesday afternoon. Good thing that I called earlier for a reservation otherwise, we will be waiting long to be seated.
After getting our orders, we went to their cake counter and decided what cake to eat for dessert. If only I can buy a slice of all their cake products that would really make me happy. But then, I had to choose only one. I opted to try their new product, which is the Black Velvet. Sounds yummy already. But of course, we still ordered a slice of Mango Bravo.
Lengua Estofado (Php 270.00)
Calios (Php 215.00)
Chicken Bailotine
Pasta Allegria (Php175.00) - Tender chicken, sundried tomatoes and shitake mushrooms sauteed in olive oil with garlic and fresh tomatoes, served on delicous linguine
Linguine in Pesto Sauce with seafood (Php 220.00) – rich green basil sauce served on delicious linguine with seafood
Peach Walnut Torte (Php 90.00)
Black Velvet (Php 105.00) rich chocolate cake with cream cheese.
Love the combination of chocolate and cream cheese. This is another “must try” cake for me

of course, the ever famous Mango Bravo (Php 105.00).
It’s sad that they have no deliveries yet. Oh, they do deliver, but only within greenbelt area :( They only allow pick-up. At least it is still near our office. I can go there anytime I want and on crave for their tall and delicious cakes. Need to try their Strawberry Shortcake within the week

my family and i love conti’s too. i’ve blogged about it a few times already. we’ve tried their linguine in pesto sauce + seafood, roast beef in mushroom gravy, chicken ballotine, and a few more of their entrees. of course, among their desserts, my palate is partial to mango bravo.
btw, thanks for visiting my blog and posting a comment. really appreciate it.
