Angat Dam

This shot was taken at the Angat Dam, Baliwag Bulacan, Philippines when I joined the Bulacan Letratista (BULLET) photowalk last January. I was surprised that people use the portion of the dam to cross from one point to the other.   See this man walking on the water causing a ripple effect.

Boracay

When there is low tide, you can see the sand and the ripple effect it produce.

This is my entry to this week’s photohunt.

Was blown away by your first photo. Amazed that people walk where they do in that photo… and have to say I wish I could try it… especially on a hot day! :D

I’m really surprised that people are allowed to just walk on the dam, like that! Both shots are lovely, but the second one is my favorite. :-)

I love the composition and exposure on the first picture. The darkness adds to the evening ambiance. An excellent look at the day-to-day life of the people. And a good picture for this week’s theme.

Very interesting that they cross the dam. Sure made for a pretty picture. I like how the green really pops out against the sand in the second picture.

I just love your ripple shots. Looks like a wonderful place to wade. And the ripples in the sand are great. I have some ripples that used to be sand a few million years ago. . . check it out.

it’s fun doing the photohunt and seeing how others participated. It doesn’t matter if you’re late as long as you joined.
